Product Description
For 6-8" Round Speakers with a Cut-Out Size of upto 300mm (Dimensions - 360mm*170mm(H))
The Firetopper Pro Acoustic Speaker Firehood has been designed specifically for in-ceiling speakers and conform with the latest IEE and Building Regulations for Fire and Acoustic integrity of ceilings.
- Wrap around design ensures improved acoustic, fire and thermal performance.
- No Fixings required - Hood is clamped firmly to plasterboard by the speakers swing clamps.
- Triple layer construction. Two intumescent layers encase fire retardent acoustic foam.
- Fire Red indicates to other trades, this is a fire safety product.
- Suitable for installation in suspended or plaster board ceilings.
- Restores the ceiling's fire integrity.
- Fully compliant with IEE and Building Regulations for Fire and Acoustic integrity of ceilings - BS476 Parts 21, 23 for acoustic and fire dispersion.
- Reduces sound leakage into room above.
- Simple and rapid fixing free installation from below or above the ceiling.

Great product, well made and easy to install and use. Looks great and even though it won't be seen by the client, it gives us the installer peace of mind to know they will do its job if required. Hopefully it never will.

Like many others have already said we also trialled the Firetopper hoods.
So refreshing to use this product given all the complexities we have to deal with these days in A/V. Simple and effective what more do you want and at a great price

We've been using firehood for many years now and have just recently trialled the Firetopper hoods.
Have to say, without doubt they are the best we have used, not only easy to install but a great design.
We'll be using these going forward and wouldn't hesitate to recommend,

Great looking product that offers everything you need and is so much simpler to install than others (no more silly nails and right angle metal legs)!!
